We know how hard it is to chose the right optical frame whose shape and colour will complement your features. This is why we created this little guide that captures the best tips we collected over our 10 years + experience in making eyewear:
If you have an oval face shape, you're in luck. Your choices are wide and varied. Look for glasses that are a touch wider than your face, they will accentuate your cheekbones.
Shop Cairo, Portofino, Santiago
If you have a square-shaped face go for oversized roundish glasses. A cat-eye will also lift up your face and rounder shapes will soften the angles.
Shop Istanbul, St Louis, Portofino
Choose a frame that will make your face look slimmer and longer. More graphic, squarer shapes will work well.
Shop Montreal, Rome, Monaco
Choose a frame that provides contrast to your heart shaped face and doesn't imitate it. Try to find a frame that minimises the width of the top of the face or something graphic.
Shop Tokyo, New York, Paris
Over or below the eyebrows?
Below. Make sure your frames finish just below your eyebrows as they frame your face - your glasses should accentuate your features not hide them.
How to choose the right colour?
Use the colours of your frames like you would use makeup or like your clothes - choose frames in colours that enhance your colouring and hair-colour.
How to get my prescription lenses fitted on my new frames?
Step 1: Select your frames and choose 'prescription' when adding to cart.
Step 2: Email us your prescription, ensuring your pupil distance is included.
Step 3: Receive your prescription glasses within 10 days max
Can I try the glasses before committing to getting my prescription senses fit?
Yes, if you'd rather try your frames on before ordering your lenses please email us to organise this at email@example.com
Can you do different coloured lenses with my optical prescription?
Yes, you can match your lenses to any sunglasses, or we have a selection of sun lenses to choose from and you can specify the gradient/how dark they are - just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I buy glasses and then have lenses done at my optician?
Yes of course this is possible.
Can I return my optical frames once they have my lenses in?
Yes the frame cost is refundable but not the prescription cost - email us to try before you commit to them. You can also swap for the same frames in another colour for free (as the same lenses would fit).
