PRISM'S Guide to Southwest France

Located in the South-West of France and known for its amazing surf and expansive stretches of Dunes and white sand beaches, check out our top tips of what to do here!

All of the beaches in Hossegor, Seignosse and around are pretty spectacular - Les Estagnots the main beach is perfect for a balance of beauty and easy access. Meanwhile La Caserne beach is like being on the moon - a 5 minute walk over some huge (protected) sand dunes takes you to the most vast open white sandy beach, with the best waves for surfers too!

Tante Jean in Hossegor town centre is the best icecream spot around - flavours from Kinder and Nutella to Blood Orange mean there is something delicious for everyone

Head to L’Acai for the best juices and breakfast right next to Les Estangots beach .

Louvine is a Hawaian food spot just round the corner from the beach with the best, fresh Poke bowls - head down there after a long day of sun, sea and sad for some nourishment!

Le Surfing is the spot to have a beer early evening - hidden just on the right before you get to the main entrance of Les Estagnots beach - this is the local seasoners’ spot and a great relaxed vibe.

Don't miss a day trip to Biarrtiz - La Grande Plage is the picture perfect spot for the kids, with the stripe beach cabanas and the city above as the backdrop. Do the short walk around the coast on the rocks to the Cote de Basque.

If you want another day out - Parlementia beach is a hidden spot just below Guethery (Providence is a must-try restaurant in this gorgeous little village). Walk down the sandy steps with views that are to dye for. There is also Bahia Beach restaurant, the perfect spot for a lazy lunch perched on the edge of the beach too.

We can’t get enough of Hossegor. Check out our Hossegor top here!
